how much did you pay for DX

I called Verizon today looking to get a phone replacement for my plam pre, I was on my 5th one and was offered an upgrade to the droid X for $50, so i got my droid x for cheap....

it was a manager who helped me with all of it today, I bought it online today and he applied a credit to the account so i only paid 50 for it.

He also stated that it would ship out probably Monday, and that they are almost caught up on the back orders and such.

nice! I was also hearing that Monday is when they will start shipping DX's again...not sure where my hubby got his info but told me he read it from a reliable source. I hope it is true so I can have my DX....

BTW, we paid $398 for 2 DX and they applied the $100 instant rebate ($200 total rebate) at the store we bought it so we got lucky there....

i paid $150 for mine and i'm a new customer. i came in to help my parents get a droid and the rep said if u come today i'll get it to u on 8/5 for $150. so i couldnt say no. ok i paid $250 plus $100 rebate. he sure was pushy im a new vzw customer now. i cant resist androids lol

Full retail here...$569. Ouch! Tried a number of emails to to different Verizon departments, as well as 2 or 4 calls to CS (always being pleasant). I had upgraded my Storm 1 to a Storm 2 in December 09. Both of those phones have been great to me, but I really want this bigger screen.

I paid $270 before debate on mine... i know people who work at a verizon retailer (non corporate) they gave me a discount and free case lol... i've paid a lot more for phones (w/o upgrades) so i'm pretty happy about it

How did you get them to throw in the docks? I have to wait until the 9th but I think I can get 299 - 100rebate -50NE2 - 30discount code = 120. But I'd really like to get a free dock too that would be awesome.

Well I was with Alltel since 1993, so in verizons system it shows us being a customer with them for 17 years. This had a big factor in them giving me a discount because I was a loyal customer.

I paid the $299 then got the NE2 so it went to $249. I got the car dock and screen protectors with a 25% discount so in the end got it all for $300 with tax. Then waiting on the rebate so its more like $200. But I then sold my Droid the next day for $200 so It was really free! Love my X!

317.99 at my local verizon store, and going to get a $100 rebate when I get the phone so its really 217.99. add in the case, car charger, and screen protectors total comes to 276.00 after the rebate and discounts.

Paid $199 for mine. Walmart was the only place I could find the DX. Tried to upgrade but was told my upgrade was August 19th. The phone was sold out everywhere including Verizon and backordered via customer service. I decided I wasn't taking no for an answer and called customer service. I asked them why I couldn't get my upgrade a month early at Walmart if I was allowed to do it via VZW. After all, the phone is sold out and this was the one place I found 1 DX. They upped my upgrade date and I got my phone.

Found out in the process that Walmart charges tax on the sale price only unlike VZW which charges tax on the full retail price. Saved a few dollars there.

I paid $99.99 with my NE2 and a new 2 year contract I looked for the 1 year contract and online it was telling me that the X jumped up to $280.00 not sure why.

I got one of the bundles with mine that included the car dock, screen protector, and car charger. did not need the car charger but figured I got it for free considering I was going to get the other things anyways. So in all with phone overnight shipping and bundle package I spent $149.98. I dont think I did that bad.
