GPS icon missing from status bar
Can't seem to get the GPS icon to show up in the status bar?
Turning GPS on and off and nothing changes in the status bar. I know GPS is being turned on and off because the apps tell me so.
Bluetooth, WIFI, and the other icons are there just not GPS?

The gps icon will only appear when an app is using it. Unlike wifi and BT, which are constantly looking to connect to a signal, gps only runs when it is needed. Try opening google maps, and it should show up then

Yes this is why it doesn't really make sense to turn off gps, cause it does not run unless you open an app that needs it anyway. So it really saves no battery life leaving it off.
