My apologies if this has already been posted but here's my issue/bug.
an overview.
- I have a VZW dock
- I pattern protect my phone from unauthorized access set to 15 minute lockout time.
- I use the unlock screen when inactive for 1 minute.
My issue is that if i put my phone on the dock while its locked it rotates the screen (as it should) and goes into dock mode. I get an Email while it is docked and the notification comes to the notification bar on top. While still docked i can swipe the notification bar and click on the email and it will open.
Shouldnt this be password protected? so doesnt this mean if you lose your phone or someone gets a hold of it, all they have to do is put it in a dock and they will have access to emails without any password required. Anyone know how to resolve this? can anyone else test this to verify im not crazy?
This seems like a serious security risk especially for those using it for corporate purposes.
**edit. The email opens no matter how long its been on the dock for, not just before the 15 minute lockout time is up. Middle of the night and everything***
