Is there any way to block incoming texts?
Someone has my X's number and is sending text messages in another language. How can I block these incoming texts? (... besides just deleting them as they arrive.)

Vtext.com
Create a login and then add the number.
I think you can have 5 for free.
Beyond that you need to add usage controls for $4.99 a month. - 09-12-2010, 08:49 PM #4
Log onto my verizon.
You can block text and calls for upto 5 numbers for free - 09-12-2010, 08:59 PM #5
I also think Handcent has a blacklist thing that blocks unwanted numbers.

The downside to an app-based solution is that I believe the texts still technically get delivered to your phone, and then the app deletes them.
Just something to consider if you're on a limited texting plan. Calling verizon to block the number doesn't cost anything, I had them block a former roommate who kept calling me just to harass me.Droid X

You are right. Tried an app. Blocked text, but it was still there on Verizon. Waiting to se if texter gets tired if no response. If not, will block on Verizon.
