I received an email from Verizon at 8:39AM announcing that FROYO is available for my phone with links to upgrade instructions. Problem is that my phone went dead yesterday and the replacement isn't supposed to be here until tommorrow (at least that is what the Verizon girl said). I am a headcase on many levels.
1. I am going crazy without a cell phone period.
2. I am going crazy without my Droid fix.
3. I have been waiting impatiently like everyone else for Froyo.
4. I get an email from Verizon and am helpless to do anything about it.
5. What's the chances that my phone comes tommorrow with all the stories of people waiting weeks?

God please let me make it through the day!

False Alarm
When I checked the link it mentioned the original Droid.
Not Droid X!
That at least takes off issues numbers 3 and 4 above.

ALL EMAILS AND TEXTS ANYONE GETS FROM NOW UNTIL NEXT WEEK ABOUT FROYO ARE FOR THE OG DROID

Verizon is always late on sending update emails and texts. It will be all of the web before Verizon sends anything out.
