Screen Backlight comes on after charging

My screen lights up when I disconnect the charger. The X doesn't come on, just the backlight. I then have to press the sleep button, have the phone come on, then press again to turn off.

Anyone else see this?

I just noticed this in the last few days. No idea why or what changed.

I can't remember if this just started after I upgraded to 2.2

I have the same problem in 2.2. This will kill your battery for sure.

Mine used to come on when I connect and disconnect the charger, now it just comes on when I connect it, after 2.2 of course. When I pull it off the charger, it doesn't come on.
