I got Dolphin HD set to spoof as a desktop so that I could open the normal Netflix page. It asked to download the Silverlight plug in. I couldn't run the Exe, which didn't surprise me. So I hunted for a Linux version. I came across Moonlight and downloaded "novell-moonlight-2.3-i586.crx. My question is what do I do next? Will I need to root and run a terminal command or someting completely different. I would have searched.but I really didn't know where to go next. Any help would be appreciated. I just want to watch movies on my phone.

Skyfire for Android supports Silverlight, however it cannot stream Netflix as they require additional files to be downloaded and installed on your *computer* for playback to work.

You may just have to wait for the Netflix Android app to be released. Netflix hired a few people this summer specifically to develop their Android app. Unfortunately it looks like the app is still a ways off though.
