pretty new to my DX as I started with the original droid which is still holding up strong. So I wanted to test the color on the Droid X to see what the result would be. I actually do photography for living so it's not common for me to be using my phone to capture photo moments.

Using stock camera app:
Letter A shows the subject using NO flash
Letter B shows the same exact photo but enhanced to near actual color when viewed in person.

I noticed that the data pulled from the camera's EXIF shows that the Droid X shot this photo at f/2.8 which to any photographer is considered a fast lens capable of shooting in low light conditions. I haven't tested to see what that would be like but looking at my result, it's no where compared to a f/2.8 lens even on a compact point and shoot.

This is the actual Exif data from the photo:

Wow, that adjusted picture looks a lot nicer!
Looks like you increased the contrast a bit too, is that correct? What program did you use to make your enhancements? Was it a manual adjustment or an automatic one?

Photoshop is amazing. I put all of the pictures I take through that for some final adjustments before I do anything with them. It's amazing what a few small tweaks can do.
