I use the WeatherBug app widget. Best for me with a very local station. Also, has lots of data and maps at a touch.
Always learning ...

well ive read a lot of bad review recently about the weatherbug widget not updating. i was going to use twc but hate the ads and there isn't a paid version. its interesting that no one uses the stock weather widget. on sense some people used it cuz its integrated into the clock.

i'll give weatherbug a try. i think the interface for the app is a bit clunky but if the data is better, i'll overlook it

I personally use the stock weather widget. Call me paranoid, but, since Blur is running 24/7 anyway, I don't really want a third party app running with it and doing the same thing.
So, why not put it to use since its already running, ya know?

ya, i also noticed that the forecast doesn't show anything other than cloud cover or precipitation. meaning tomorrow in my area there is a wind advisory. and it says sunny

i tried weatherbug and dont particularly like it.
its disappointing that the stock widget is so inaccurate. i like that its a pop up not a seperate app
guess its weather.com - 12-27-2010, 11:50 PM #20

I will never get it, people spend premium bucks on a phone and plan and then a couple bucks is too much? Oh well.......

The reason my droid X is bad *** is bucks spent on bad *** apps like LPP BW Power Amp on and on....I guess I am a software junkie ; )

i mean i knowi its a couple of bucks. but weather.com does the same thing for free. now i'll pay for tapatalk and soundhound and other things that i can't get for free

No it don't. I assure you that. When I unlock my phone I get animations as good as sense. With elite I can tweak the **** out of it. Free is free for a reason. I like to throw a bone for the hard working devs and get the treats the freebies never see : )
