Circle Battery Widget 1%
I was reading around on some other forums, and circle battery widget now shows the battery percentage for the droid x in 1% intervals! There is some talk about how this is actually being accomplished, but so far its been pretty accurate for me.

Interesting, it sure is...wonder how accurate it is?

Very cool! Now need to get working with roms. Not sure how right it is. System still at 60 and this shows 56. When it was at 62 system was still 60. Ill try it a few days and see what happens.

Thanks,

yep, 1% increments after the latest update. and seems to be accurate. and same here with only charging to 99% even when fully charged. but i dont care. thrilled to have an accurate battery %!
Update: nm, its does charge all the way to 100% in the circle text.Last edited by alphabets; 02-16-2011 at 10:04 AM. Reason: adjust

i noticed that the same on the charging, when plugged in, it showed 100, as soon as i unplugged it, it went to 99. i'm trying to determine what effect this will have on the battery as well. seeing the increments go down in 1% values as opposed to 10% is kinda freaky! LOL, i keep thinking my battery is draining super fast! which it still might be.....

Hey guys, do you find that this runs your battery down any faster, being that it is most likely updating the status much more often? I would be very interested to know if it is a battery hog before I give it a try. ?

I was at 100% when I updated the widget this morning. I'm only at 82% now...for light usage.

What percentage does your regular method show you having? Let me guess...80%.
It is probably just an estimation based on the time it has been running, not a true percentage. Honestly, does it really NEED to be 100% accurate? I don't know about you, but I put my phone on the charger every night when I sleep regardless of what any battery indicator shows & I haven't ran out of juice yet."They don't think it be like it is, but it do." -Oscar Gamble
