moving apps to sd card

Quick question, not that im running out of space but I wanted to know how do I move apps that are on the phones memory to the sd card

Pretty simple!

settings-->applications-->-->manage applications-->

select an app

If an app can't be moved to the SD card, the button is grayed out, otherwise it will move when you push the button.

Apps that the phone needs to run can't be moved, also you need to be running 2.2 or higher.

Like you said, you're not running out of space because the X has 8gb of memory for apps. The point is, why move it to the slow SD card? If you want back ups of your application apk files, then back them up with Astro File Manager, it saves them on your sd card, it just doesn't run them from the sd card. It can install them easily though, should the need arise.
