GB update instructions

I know... do a search. I did one, got tired of reading hundreds of posts. I updated my own DX to GB, works great. I need to do a friend's DX. Please tell me if I'm missing anything.


I have the update file on a memory card already. Put in the phone.

Home+Power till the triangle comes up
Press Camera button (in Froyo)

up/down with volume button to highlight update
select with camera button?

Run the update. Now go back in to do factory reset:

Home+Power till triangle comes up
Press Up/Down button at same time (in GB)

up/down with volume button to highlight reset
Press ???? to select it


I think I've got most of it right, but can't remember a few of the buttons. Thanks.

you can also go into settings, then privacy then select factory reset..easier
