Please help me understand the OTA update thing...

So I have flashed tons of custom ROMS, have been rooted, un-rooted, etc. all on my X on Verizon USA. Numerous issues (dropped calls, apps not working right....etc.) have caused me to flash back (using RSDLITE) to 2.3.320 - I know that it's an older ROM but I thought I would start from scratch. I got the ROM off the web months ago but it's a signed/official VZW en.US one - So, my question...Will I get OTAs? Shouldn't it have been recognized that I wasn't even on 340 and alerted me for an update? when i manually checked, it said I was up to date.

any help with how this works would be so appreciated.\

Why .320? Here is the 2.3.340 SBF:

Full 2.3.340 Official sbf

If you are on that & don't delete/modify any of your bloat...you will get the GB update OTA when it comes. It doesn't matter if you are rooted or not, you will get the OTA unless you make system changes w/o putting them back first.
