MinX ROM For Droid X2

Ok so I just downloaded the new rom this morning and i'm having trouble flashing it. i can't boot into recovery, all i get is the android guy and an exlamation mark in a triangle.....any help? any ideas? anyone with success?

google systemrecovery.apk
download it put it on your phone
install it using a file manager, I use root explorer
Open app, tap install recovery, then click recovery mode
PLUG IT INTO THE WALL, seriously. Quickly.
Then backup, and install .zip from sd card.
Fin.

There's a new ROM AVAILABLE! This forum feels like its given up on the DROID X2 head over to xda for the affinity rom.

what is the "affinity" rom?

Just a different ROM built off the same source as MinX. Or at least that is what I got from it. I am installing it now. There is now an extension to Affinity that adds a whole bunch of extra functionality too. I'm going to try and load it up tonight.

How is it? Minimal X has too many bugs for my liking (understandable) but i'm thinking about going back to stock and waiting for GB.

Its pretty good. But now that there is a debloated ROM of GB out on the xda forums I will be switching to that tonight. You will have to root and then apply the P3 pre-rooted Gingerbread update first and then wipe and install the ROM. There are just too many advantages in Gingerbread to hold off now that Gingerbread is rooted and and there is a debloated ROM available.

Can anyone get me the MinX wallpaper? I've googled it and only come up with one that is a little too small..im really picky about my wallpapers being nice quality..I can't really find many and didn't think it would be this hard to get without the rom.
