i need help guys....my phone is rooted on eclipse rom....i was messing with font installer app just now...i changed the font and hit yes to reboot....now my phone is stuck on the motorola dual core screen that first pops up when booting....i dont know what to do....someone help me!

The only time I got stuck on boot screen was after SBF'ing or flashed a theme that wasnt for the DX2. Fixing boot loop after SFB is as easy as going into recovery and wiping data and cache (not factory reset). The other instance I had, I couldnt figure anything else to do but SBF. From now on I dont experiment with anything that isnt 100% made for the DX2. I have never tried changing the font on my phone so I cant help you specifically.

i know you can hold the power button and down volume button to get to some choices but i dont know what to choose....someone please help!

Yeah. Turn the phone off, hold the volume down + Power button. Scroll down through the options until you get to android recovery and press the volume up button. When the exclamation/triangle logo appears, press on both the volume up and volume down buttons at the same time and some more options will show up. You can scroll up and down with the volume buttons and select with the power button (if I remember correctly). Try wiping data and cache partition and reboot. If that doesnt work, I have no other options other than restoring factory settings or sbf your phone unless someone else can chime in here.

Im sorry that didnt work. To sbf, all you need is a Windows computer, the motorola drivers, a program called RSD lite and the sbf file. All can be found using Google. Once you have everything, its pretty simple but you will lose all your settings and anything else not backed up. Your apps will automatically restore and your sd card and internal storage will not be erased. It will pretty much set everything back to the way it was when you bought the phone. In the future, before modifying system files like fonts and stuff, I suggest backing up your rom first. You can use the Clockwork Mod Recovery to do that. That way if anything goes wrong, you can easily do a recovery and set everything back to normal.

ok i will try that..i thought we couldnt use clockwork on our phones i ve been using bootstrap to get into recovery?

If there is, Im not aware of it. I think you can only get into the Android Recovery if you cant turn your phone on. I hope you have figured everything out since yesterday.

ya i did thanks for the help...i sbf'd my phone back to 2.3.4....re-rooted...bootstrapped...and reflash eclipse 1.2...Back to normal again!

Awesome. Well if you ever have a problem again, the sbf should always fix it. I didnt realize until recently that Motorola is the only manufacturer that offers the sbf option. Everyone else is just out of luck I guess.
