Clock Widget Problems

Hey everyone. I am a newb to the android universe and just got my Motorola Droid X2. I am having problems with every clock widget that I have installed not updating the time. I have downloaded 4 different ones from 4 different developers and all with the same problem. I have went into the settings for each one and doubled checked then triple checked everything and can not find out what is wrong. Is any one else having this problem and can you tell me what I may be doing wrong? Thanks

Having the same problem. Tried several with the same results. If I tap on the clock to go to settings and return, the clock updates. The clock has been off by hours on occasion.

I use Beautiful Widgets and I don't have any problems at all with my clock not updating..
