    Default Need advice!!

    Hello all fellow droiders,
    I have a problem okay I bought some 1540mah batteries on the net and when I use them it says I have no battery installed so then I never know when they are used up lol has anyone ever had this issue before or any answers for me please. this is the droid x2 replacement batteries. Thanks Jess

    No answers but yes I have this with my DX. Batteries still work so I just use them as a spare while my stock battery is charging. But hey I got 2 batteries and a charger for $8. I use them when I go camping or just till my stock battery is charging.

    Lithium ion batteries are controlled by firmware. Cheap knock-offs can have bad firmware or bad cells. Worst case is they will short, rapidly overheat, discharge flamable gases and burn up.
