Some lady at work is selling a brand new Droid x2. they got it buy one get one free deal.

They are wanting to selling it for 150 bucks.

I have a droid incredible, but the screen JUST cracked the other day.

I am eligible for an upgrade for a discount, but nothing is interesting right now.

So what should i do?

I dont have a DX2 but I had the same thing happen if you have insurance you can get a D INC 2 for $100. I ended up claiming insurance and they sent me a brand new in box one because they no longer make the INC's. Sorry to hijack the thread!

Look at it this way:
($7.99 x 20+ months) + $100 > $150

Go for the X2 and hold the upgrade for something good.

exactly, nexus prime is coming (hopefully) in a few months, and so is the bionic (but I wouldn't go with that unless it has unlocked bootloader)
and the X2 isn't a terrible phone, it functions quite well

I got the X2 for $150 on contract. The X2 for $150 off contract would have been a no brainer for me. I actually love my X2 (upgraded for the OG Droid). For $150 I say go for it.

I'm in the same boat. I bought an Asus Transformer and fell in love with Android again. I have Best Buy's Buy Back on my iPhone 4, and can get a Droid X2 for around $150 and not change my upgrade date of January. I think I might do it...
