GB made battery worse?

After updating to GB last night my battery usage reads:

8 hours and 44 minutes
Phone idle 52%
Display 16%
Cell Standby 10%
Mediaserver 8%
Pandora 7%
Android OS 4%

I have 50% of my battery left. That means my phone being idle used over 25% of my battery in 9 hours. That seems like way to much. Any suggestions.

After updating to the rooted version of GB my battery lasts longer than it did in Froyo. I have seen people post other places about battery life... some good... some bad. I think it may have to do with what you have running on your phone.

My battery drain appears worse with new software.

Yeah my phone idle statistic is way up. I'll have to keep an eye out on it though, because it does seem like it's taking more battery life overall.

Just wondering if anyone has figured anythign else out about this. I'm also getting a much higher "phone idle" portion of my battery drain after GB update. IN my case, over 25% and the #1 consumer of battery power. Used to alway be "display".
