Is your email syncing properly? Check your menus for sync options.
I'm not sure how third party email works, as, I use gmail. Are you supposed to be able to delete emails from your phone and have it delete it from your actual Verizon account? If so, try deleting an email from your phone, but, one that shows up on your computer. If you see the delete when on your computer, that's good, if not, it's not syncing right. - 02-01-2012, 05:27 PM

Did you try deleting an email that was new? Like, something that you just got? If you delete it from your phone and it doesn't delete when you view your email on your computer, you know you have some type of sync issue.
You should consider switching to gmail anyway. I'm always kind of surprised when people tell me they have a Comcast, Hotmail, etc. nowadays. Google's products are so comprehensive (and free), I don't see why everyone isn't on board. - 02-02-2012, 07:50 AM

There should be ways to set it up so that all mail is forwarded to a different email address. Not sure exactly how that works, but, I would assume it's not that complicated. You might want to look into that.
My guess is that the email app just pushes them to your phone, and, stores them locally. Not sure that there is really any way around this. I would suggest checking around in the menu options for something that might help you, if not, I think you are out of luck. But, I could be wrong, maybe someone else will chime in.
