Droid X2 network speeds?

I was seriously considering finally giving up my old Blackberry Curve 8310 to get a Droid X2 until I realized it wasn't 4g compatible. I know there are no 4g standards, and that companies like AT&T renamed their 3g to 4g.

Can anyone tell me about the network speeds? Is it something you regret? I plan on doing some basic music and youtube streaming. Does it handle things like Netflix very well?

Totally dependent on your town. Some people are pulling 3mbps when some other people are only getting 300kbps.

Around SE Minnesota I'm getting downloads between 1.1mbps and 2.3mbps.

Upload speeds is a consistent 500 kbps

3g goes on and off for me at work home and school. Could be because I live in a really big county. I will check with other Verizon friends to see how their phones speeds are. At work I get around 725 kb download and maybe 100 kb upload

In Phoenix I get about 2mb down and ~800kb up on 3G. The Netflix app isn't officially supported for the X2 but I was able to stream a movie over 3G just fine. A little pixelated, but definitely watchable. You'd want to use wifi once the bandwidth caps take effect this summer though.
