Droid X2 not sending contacts to car via bluetooth

I have a 2010 KIA Forte and formerly had a Droid 2. I purchased the Droid X2 and cannot get my contacts to upload to my car via bluetooth. It pairs fine and I can talk fine, but I can't ask my car to call someone. I had this problem originally on my Droid 2, but it was eventually fixed. Disappointed it is a problem again on a new Droid. Anyone have a work around?
