Hiding Folders

Is there an app i can download or how can i hide specific folders in my photo gallery?

If you just don't want the photos to show in gallery, I think you can make a folder beginning with a period and gallery won't display photos in that folder, for example - .photos

yeah, put a '.' in front of the folder name. It won't be viewable in the gallery but you can use an app like Astro File Manager to open it.

You can also just make a file named .nomedia and it'll do the same as naming a folder with a '.'.

Hi new to the android, when I create the folder .nomedia , then my phone does not recognize any of my pics, gallery shows up empty. Any solutions for this?

Remove the . from the folder name, exactly the opposite of what previous posters advised to hide pictures.
