Docking station

OK so the docking station does not work with a phone case on (at least not the 2 i have used). I find this annoying because I really do not want to take off the protector every time I want to charge it at night.

The piece that activates the multimedia station is actually the small plastic part that sticks out of the docking station from the top. I know this because I ripped mine off (it is designed to). So give it a good pull in the direction it is sticking out and it pops out. Now with this out you can turn any surface into a docking station. I put it down on my desk rest my phone on it and bam! desk/docking station.

I may make my own station that works the same way as the default one but can hold the phone with a case on it.

yeah, there are magnets in that little tab. Apparently the docking station and the car holder have magnets in different places to turn on car mode or home mode.
