Some of you may recognize my name from crackberry, as I am seriously thinking of making the change to Droid. I wasn't too impressed with the S2 and wasn't about to get into another contract for it. I cashed in on the 30 day try and sent it back this week.
I did a search for droid+battery+data and it only came up with one thread. I know you can set the poll rate for non gmail email accounts ... but my question is ... will that eat up the battery? Do you have to constantly turn the data on and off to save battery life?
I had a long relationship with WinMo phones and if you keep teh data on, your phones dead in a couple of hours. Is this the case with the android OS?
I'm totally out of my element with andriod so I hope my questions aren't too annoying.
