Phone Dialing with Passcode

Has anyone figured out how to dial a phone number followed automatically by a passcode on the Motorola Droid? It would sure be nice for conference calls and other services. My weak memory cannot always remember the 6 to 8 digit passcodes.

Not sure if this will work, but follow this format.

(123)456-7890,,,Passcode_here
Basically the "," is a pause, so after the last pause the string at the end will be entered automatically. Add as many as you need until the prompt for the passcode comes up.

I can never make this work properly on the Droid. The pauses never seem to be long enough.
