new to smartphone / droid

I am new to the world of smartphones, Droid, less than one month. What should I do to keep my Droid running smoothly. I do not want to root yet. I have searched through a whole ton of posts and am feeling overwhelmed.

Android does quite well handling things own it's own. Some folks swear by task killers, while others don't. Since you stated you're aren't willing to root yet, just kick back and enjoy what the phone can already do.

There's really not much to do unless you're having problems. Stop worrying and enjoy it. You don't need to understand everything at once. Pick something to focus on that you'r e interested and start there. If you try to tackle everything at once you'll be overwhelmed no matter what device you're using.

Agreed, only time I've ever had it run not so smoothly has been when I player around with task killers or memory settings. Just let the phone handle everything and enjoy.
