Painful Media Sync

Okay all, loving my Droid, but I think I was spoiled with the iTunes/iPhone ecosystem, because it's become very painful to sync my music on the Droid with my iMac and DoubleTwist. I have a fairly large iTunes library, and every time I run DoubleTwist, it slows the machine to a crawl, and when I try to drag playlists or even single files to the Droid, it just is completely unresponsive. It's really just awful. And yes, I have 2.1, and the latest versions of all software.

Question: is DoubleTwist just really poor software, or could the stock 16GB card that comes with the Droid just be REALLLLLY slow? I ordered the 32GB card with a bundle from VZW and waiting for it to arrive, but it's a very clumsy arrangement and just unusable. Very frustrating right now.

Try iSyncr. It's in the Market for $2.99. I have a PC but I believe there's a Mac version too.

Double Twist is just slow. Try something different.
