Is there a 3rd party Clock and weather app like the HTC Hero available?

The one you are talking about is from the Sense UI on the HTC Hero, look on the Marketplace for "Weather Widget - Donate"

You can check out Beautiful Widgets. The clock does not flip but looks identical.

yea, i've been going back and forth with both of them. beautiful widgets got much better after the recent update, however i also like the different size weather widgets you can have with ww donate, also the skinning of everything in WW is also really nice.

so, i have both, currently i'm using Beat. Widg as my clock with gps located weather and the tiny weather icon from WW on another screen for another city. i'm pretty happy with that.

I think so? WW has some issues updating and it doesn't display weather info in landscape mode

I've tried both and like WW. However, it's so much screen real estate for the clock/weather combo.

Well thats the idea, to be identical to the HTC widget. BW has a large and small clock weather widget.

Okay this is what I noticed.
BW does not have the weather animation but displays the weather in landscape (to the right of the flip clock). You also can't access the alarm via the flip clock.
WWD does not show the weather in landscape and does not give you the six little extra Widgets that BW does.

Neither is perfect, wish you could get both and make 1. I will stick to WWD cause if the access to my alarm and the awesome animation.

I think who ever gets the flip clock to actually flip will have the edge here. I would think that WWD would have it first since the weather does animate when you click on it.

What I love to use for the home screen is DigiClock (has date & day), then I use Weather Widget (free) in tiny mode, and vizBattery. They all sit at the top of my home screen and all only take up one row, though the clock takes two icon spaces. DigiClock is awesome, you can change the clocks color to match your theme, and you can set it to launch alarm, calender, browser, or theme chooser on tap.
