swipe?

i read somewhere that 2.2 would have the new keyboard swipe feature? i have yet to download 2.2 and figured if yall knew..

this just shows where it has the numbers im talking about the swipe where you swipe from letter to letter instead of having to pick your finger up and move it for every number i believe the correct spelling for it is swype.

If you are talking about Swype, then you are out of luck. Swype comes on the Droid X and a select few other phones. Other than that you have to wait for them to release it for general use. They opened the beta program back in June, but it is currently closed.

You could try swiftkey. I got in on the swype beta, so I haven't tried it, but it is supposed to be pretty good.
