Major 2.2 issues..

Hello all I'm new to the forum and am in need of major help! I'm pretty familiar on how to manually install new versions as I manually installed 2.1...but 2.2 has been giving me major problems. I waited patiently for the OTA but it NEVER came...I'm one of the early birds who had this phone too...so I figured I would manually install again, what the heck right? Unfortunately I found out that I cant. Every time I try to manually install 2.2 it gives me the signature verification error..I have googled and googled and googled nothing has helped. I even tried manually installing 2.1 and it gave me the same signature verification error. Can anyone please help me because I am in desperate need of 2.2

which version are you trying to install frg01 or frg22. frg22 will not work if your coming from ese81 it was just a patch for flash.

frg01 ...and for some reason on my phone it says under "build number" voles-userdebug 2.1-update1 ESE53 25914 test-keys...is that normal for 2.1 ? considering your saying ese81...

I know why your phone won't upgrade, it's because you don't have the official 2.1-update1 rom on it. I think the official build of 2.1 was ESE81. You have an earlier version. You might as well flash to the official 2.2 build# FRG01B if you want 2.2, then from there update to FRG22D.

Agreed with Krazy. Definately looks like a verison conflict.
