Blurry contact pictures

My wife has a droid and it always has blurry contact pic when someone calls. Is there a way to fix this.

Have the pics always been blurry?

Did the pics come from a sync, like with Facebook or Google?

They have always been blurry. The pics are synced from Facebook, not Google. I also just downloaded SyncMyPic to see it it would help but it has the same problem.

What happens is the contact photos are saved as a very small picture and when someone calls the photo is enlarged for the call screen causing it to become pixelated/blurry. No way to avoid this other than an app. There's a program called Full Screen Caller ID that allows for high quality photos used as a caller ID photo (as well as the title states full screen). This may help a bit.
