Factory Reset

I have been having some issues with my phone; 1) Slow Home Pages 2) Email Issues 3) Slowwww Gallery Loads.

My questions are:
1) How do I do a reset?
2) Are there different kinds of resets are there?
3) What will I lose? Pictures, MMSs, etc? 2.2?
4) Will it help my issues?

I've done many everything synced to google will be saved.
You will have to set everything back up meaning the welcome to android stuff most everything should come back. Are you rooted? Go for not as scary as it sounds.
Settings>>>>>Privacy>>>>>>Factory data reset.
