is it possible at to change the app icons on the Droid?

On the homescreen? Yes. In the App Drawer? Not that I'm aware of.
And on the homescreen, only with the Open Cut app or home replacements.

I didn't see anything on the Market called Open Cut. I did see Better Cut though..

I downloaded Better Cut and I couldn't figure out how to change the damn icons on the home screens. I downloaded the 2.1 launcher though so maybe this is the issue? I had DxTop and loved it, but I'd thought I'd give the 2.1 launcher a shot. As long as I can figure out how to change the icons... it's awesome! I do miss the icon tray at the bottom, however, but I can deal without it..

So I guess the question then is will Better Cut allow you to change the icons with the 2.1 launcher installed?

EDIT: I figured it out... I'm an idiot. Couldn't possibly have been easier... lol!

There is one question I have though...

I was able to recreate all 4 of my screens from DxTop (except for the icon tray), but the the icons for Phone, Browser, and Gmail.. I can't figure out how to change them. All the other ones were easy, but those ones weren't listed anywhere in Better Cut for me to choose to change them. Am I missing something obvious again?

Do you have to have your phone rooted in order to change the icons?
