Contacts Question
So my first Droid broke and I'm setting up my new one. I breezed through the setup on accident and had the setting to sync all of my facebook friends to my contacts....how do I go back and change that as well as getting rid of all those contacts without just going through and deleting all of them individually...thanks in advance for any help.

there could be a very complicated way-- I'm sure there's something easier. But, try this..
1. On your PC, open gmail and back up your contacts on your PC as a .cvs file.
2. Delete all contacts in gmail
3. Sync with Droid
-- This should sync ZERO contacts, effectively deleting all of them off of your droid, since gmail maintains the "master file" and you just made it empty.
-- On your Droid, be sure to UNcheck sync with FB.
then..
4. Open gmail on your PC, import the .cvs back up contact file you made.
5. Sync with Droid - 02-04-2010, 09:23 PM #3
Also, maybe try:
Menu-settings-accounts and sync-touch facebook acct.-remove account - 02-04-2010, 09:26 PM #4
go to facebook then settings and have it no longer sync all of your facebook contacts. it should remove all of your excess contacts after a short period of time
