Default Droid - Dropped Oops - Cracked my Screen

So with only a few months to go before my "upgrade", I dropped my phone and cracked the screen. It certainly still works, but I am wondering what I can do to protect my fingers and the phone over these next few months.

Can I buy one of those screen protectors and put it on without effecting the feedback?

Or should I bite the bullet and purchase a new phone? I'm in love with the droid, but it is lacking in power for some of the new apps and the battery has been failing me recently.

New Samsung Charge? Really want the Bionic, but not sure when that is coming out!

    ---

I'm not sure I want to repair the phone by myself or send it in either.

I'm sure you could put a screen protector on it and it will still work fine.

It seems that your droid has several problems on some parts.such as the LCD, battery. to repare maybe is not the best choice. You'd better replace the parts and buy a screen protector. then your phone will be a new one again.
