I have 4 gmail accounts set up on my phone..
There is the primary of which I activated the phone with that is giving me problems.
If I log in to gmail's website and delete messages and get them out of my inbox it does so but when I go to my phone it still shows them in my inbox but with a "trash" label..
My other 3 accounts don't do that if I delete messages on one of my 3 other accounts and look on my phone and they are not in the inbox.. Very weird..
I'm sure it is a setting somewhere that I don't see.. or have messed up.
Can someone here give me some guidance on what to try??

Have you tried clearing the data for the gmail application? I had a similar problem and that solved it for me.

Clearing the data you mean under Settings>applications>manage applications?
I have not tried that as I know it will delete all the accounts and its settings..
It is not a huge deal to set the 4 accounts back up but I would avoid that if I can. I just tried to clear cache and I will see what that does..
