I've searched and searched for weeks before finally coming to the conclusion that I just need to make a thread....(and hopefully I won't be stoned for it) but all the links, tips and advice I've found just leads me to How To ROOT Droid X....not UN-ROOT.

need to return the phone and can't find a single place that gives me a firm answer on how to do it and that isn't from 2010 on how to do it.

I'd very much appreciate some help here....been out of the rooting/unrooting game for a while since I've rooted, just need some tips on how to get back to normal with my X.

The same tool used to root your GB Droid X can be used to unroot it. It's called Pete's Motorola Root Tools and it is in the top thread of the stickies in this section of the boards.
