Baseband after 2.1 downgrade
I just notice that after upgrading to 2.2 and downgrading back to 2.1 using the sbf the baseband did not flash back to BP_C_01.09.04p I was still using the .06p baseband. I have been using this for two day and did not see any adverse effect.
Just to check I found the original .604 official update and flashed it back through stock recovery and it did seem to fix the issue if anyone desires to have the correct build/baseband combination.
Has anyone else experienced this issue? - 08-24-2010, 12:13 AM #2
Just checked mine.. I have the same thing after the downgrade. Mine has been running great with the newer baseband however. No complaints.

So will this affect anything? Will this run the chance of preventing the OTA release of 2.2? Is it just safer to go back to .04? And how do I do that? Sorry it was hard enough for me to fully figure out how to just flash back to 2.1 and now its not the correct version?

I had trouble with 2.2 not booting unless I left the battery out for a LONG time. I wonder if the baseband had something to do with it...?
I flashed the 2.1 SBF, then 2.2, and back and forth a couple times settling on 2.1 for now. I'm running .04 also. - 09-01-2010, 10:17 PM #6

Reactivate how? Like you flashed the sbf and and verizon won't activate your phone?
Or does the phone go into boot loops ect?
From personal experience however, after flashing the sbf I had to call verizon and get them to reactivate my phone. They didn't ask for a reason or anything, maybe just for confirmation?Fission 1.1t4 X - Rooted Overclocked/Undervolted - 09-01-2010, 10:44 PM #8
All I had to do was *228 option 1 and then I did a *228 option 2 just to update my roaming capabilities.

Ok this is odd... After flashing back to 2.1, my baseband remained at .06.

My baseband after flashing from 2.2 to 2.1 went back to the .04p.
So not sure why some of you are stuck on .06p. Did you guys do a FULL factory reset and cache wipe?Samsung Galaxy Note 2 on Verizon
