M Logo Replacement Area

Going to make some M logo replacements. Ill upload them to share if anyone would like to change out the M logo on boot. I just threw this one together for the video. This is Superman on Fire. Thanks to P3Droid for this.

I made a few and will list them below. If someone wants one I upload.

The animation can be found here with more colors. You will need to edit the Desc file for the screen size.

How to
1) Place your LogoReplacer.zip file on your SDCARD - Delete the name so it just states logoreplacer.zip
2) Restart your phone into recovery - Bootstrap
3) Install zip, choose zip
4) Navigate to your file
5) Press the camera button
6) Restart phone

Some photos are flipped cause silly me didnt save the pre flipped ones.

I'd like the Terminator Skull (along with directions on where to put it) and I would also like that boot animation you have please.

See op I linked the site. It has many colors of that animation. You will need to edit the desc file to fit the droid x screen size or it wont be full screen. It was made for another phone I guess.

What do I have to change in the file to make it fit the X screen? Is there a place in the link I missed that tells you?

U need to dl the zip. Open the zip and pull out the desc file. Open and change the screen size to fit the X. Then drop it back in the zip and it will overwrite the old setting. Then put the boot onto the phone.

yes. just dl the stock file pulled from the phone before all this was done. If you need it I put a link at the bottom from another board doing the same stuff. Why would you want to go back to that silly M anyway? Enjoy!

Thanks, tnt. I end up sending lots of phones back to VZ if a single damn thing goes unfixably wrong with them. When I've paid money for the thing, it had better damn work. If I can't fix it, VZ is sending me a new one. And they like them to be stock

No problem. Thundercats logo is the sh@t. I made a gingerbread android guy that ill put up soon. Need more logo ideas.
