OK..I am pretty much a newbie for all this stuff, so I figured a new thread would be a good idea for folks to post or showoff their settings used on their Droid devices.

example:

DroidX 1.9GHZ.

Max VSEL: 72
Max Clock Rate: 1000000
Slot One Rate: 467800
Slot One Voltage: 30
Slot Two Rate: 600000
Slot two Voltage: 41
Slot three rate: 800000
Slot Three Voltage: 57
Slot Four Voltage: 72

Note: The overclocking numbers above are (fake) fabricated, do not use for overclocking your phone. Use at your own risk.

Dthomp can you post the full setscaling params for that 1.460 @ 78 file?

I don't use an app, I custom type out the file and inject it with insmod. Thanks.

Sure.
Max VSEL:78
Max Clock Rate: 1450000
Slot One (min speed): 400000
27
Slot Two:700000
56
Slot Three: 1000000
58
Slot Four(max speed)1450000
78

These are what the app shows when you select that setting. I used it for maybe a half hour with no problems but ymmv due to differing chips. Thisis also stagefright set to true. Even without stagefright it was still almost 2200. I may be one of the lucky ones and have a chip that likes to be run fast, the only time it rebooted on me was seeing how low I could go for undervolting, has not rebooted once over clocked / over volted.

Nice Phone! I just tried those settings and my phone just said "W h a t?"
I'm doing the 1ghz undervolted as well, it's all ready fast but now with extended battery life!

1.2 ghz @ 6.4 volts using Unstable Apps Overclocker. Best of 3 Quadrant scores was 1724.

Does anyone know what the stock voltage is supposed to be?

Meh I was getting 2700 in quadrant running at 1.4 but guess what I really can't tell much of a difference between that speed and 1.2 so ill stick with the lower speed

yeah your voltages are either too high or too low for what ever cpu frequency you are running at. either drop the cpu speed are raise/lower the voltage

So help me to understand this. Kinda new to over clocking.

I can go to 1.1 and be OK for a bit. maybe a reboot or two but nothing I can't live with.

I go to 1.2+ and almost immediately the phone freezes.

Do I just have a processor that can't go much past 1.0 or is there some other tweaks I can make to stabilize things?

I'm not so much interested in staying over clocked, I like the undervolt options better but I like to know I got the option :D

If your getting 1 0r 2 reboots on 1.1 setting then your already pushing it.
