    Default Gingerbread Data Encryption

I installed gingerbread rooted and can encrypt the SD card, but when I try to encrypt the phone data it says that there is not enough memory. I am only using about 5% of my phone mem and my SD is half full. Anyone else have this problem or have a solution to encrypt the phone data?

It's an option under security in gingerbread.

Darn. The same thing is happening to me on my D2. I wanted to try encryption but it complains about being out of memory. I'm only using 303MB of internal storage.
