Is it just me or is the camera quality in the rooted GB ROM terrible compared to 2.2? The only other ROM I've run is RubiX Blurry 1.8 and the stock FroYo. I'm about to flash TranQ 3.7.0 and see if the camera quality is better or I just remember it differently but has anyone noticed anything similar?

stock GB camera works the same as froyo for me

Actually I have been having better pictures with GB, I notice at times the camera appears to click two shots at one time and when this happens the shots are noticeably clearer, I have had friends ask what camera was I used recently because shots appear crisper... Their words not mine.

Non-root GB and the camera is no worse than its ever been.

i am also having issues...i posted this on another forum

"so i dont know if it's because of GB or not,but my camera has not been taking good quality pics as of late. it's seems i have to take a pic twice bc the first attempt usually turns out dark or blurry. also, whenever i open the camera it is set to widescreen mode even tho i always change it to large. its resets itself.

any tips of what setting you guys are using? maybe it will make a diference.

sorry, but the camera never took good quality pictures. it has a terrible sensor

It still seems to take great pictures outdoors. Inside not so much, in fact the syncing with flash is way off sometimes, it will focus, flash, pause, then click

Try just clicking to take shot, it seems that if you hold to focus camera seems to take blurry shots. Also the shots that takes two seems to take clearer shots for me.
