Going From Rooted GB .588 BACK To Froyo????

Hey guys I followed this Droid X Gingerbread 4.5.588 Rooted Installation Guide (THIS IS THE LATEST VERSION) - Droid X Releases - AllDroid Public Board guide back when it came out to go from the OTA froyo (which was rooted) to rooted GB and now that VZW is going to release the official GB update I would like to go back to Froyo (or whatever I have to do to get the new OTA). Is there a guide or way to do this? Also, when I followed the guide to go to GB I lost all of my damn angry birds progress lol How do I go back and NOT lose that crap this time?!?!?
