Possible 1% Battery Increments?
Is there any way to get 1% battery increments in the system settings on the droid x? These 10% increments are getting really annoying...
Thanks in advance! - 06-08-2011, 10:46 AM #2
Sure... Get the "Battery Monitor" or "Battery Monitor PRO" from android markert... Puts battery level in status bar. Yes with 1% increments...
Where are you taking them? To Coruscant.
Coruscant? Uh, that doesn't compute. Uh, wait, uh, you're under arrest! - 06-08-2011, 11:43 AM #3
Circle Battery Widget also will display in 1% increments, but not in the notification bar

My question was actually referring to changing the system settings so the Os reads 1% increments. I already have circle battery widget and it works very well. My buddy has an economic with CM7 and its just not fair what his phone has over my x. Damn you motorola and your locked bootloader!

As far as changing the stock OS, no, but there are plenty of great ROMs for the Droid X just as good or better than CyanogenMod (Liberty, ApeX, Rubix, etc.) already released using the Gingerbread kernel.

well if it means anything cm7 helped w some apps in the new apex rom just out so maybe thats another sign our cm7 dreams are one step closer to our X's. Back on topic I checked w droid pirate and he doesnt have it either so the circle widget is ur best bet for now.

Fab was actually tweeting late last night, that he thinks there is a way to have 1% battery increments built in and was testing on his X, not sure if he got it working...

Update, Fab tried his best, but looks like Moto stopped him this round, Jrummy is taking a shot at it now.

I actually found a dev who calls himself Cvpcs who got 1% increments working on his Moto Milestone. Check out his blog at Cvpcs.com/blog.
He seems to be the best chance at getting this feature
