No retail presence in US for Xyboard (XOOM 2)?
Can the Xyboard be found anywhere other than Verizon retail locations?

The only other place I have seen it is on the Motorola web site where it can be purchased on-line.

Seriously...went to Verizon and Best Buy tonight. Nothing at BB and Verizon only has LTE xyboard ... is the wifi only seriously only online? Does Moto want my business?

I had the Verizon LTE version briefly, purchased at a Verizon store. Decided I don't need the additional service. So I returned it and got the wifi only version online.
I need the high sunlight visibility screen, so this looks like the tablet that will work. I am also amazed it is not available anywhere else. What is it with these companies and their lame business plans while they have good hardware. - 05-14-2012, 07:26 AM #7
Just got the Xyboard 8.2 on Friday. Great device. Perfect size, the Dijit app is cool, the Nook app works well, 4G LTE allows me to stream SiriusXM without any hiccups. No need to outfit the car with a new satellite radio. Of course I could go on and on.
Glad I didn't get the ASUS transformer something something.
I was weary about springing for another data plan, but the hotspot feature makes it a little more worthwhile.

I heard there's a way to do it, but not really sure.
