I told my wife about Staples having $100 off their tablets, and she said she would think about it. I printed the coupon and left it on her desk for a week. This morning she said she wanted one, so we drove up to Staples and picked one up for $399. We checked out the Acer Iconia, BB Playbook, and HP Touchpad. She liked the Xoom best. I guess they don't have the Samsung Tab in stock yet. It was $100 more anyway. We are now a two Xoom family!
We have three in our household. Me, my wife, and my only child (son). I use mine for work. My wife uses her's for just about everything. My son uses his for school (and games, and texting, and, and, and...)
We're in the midst of compiling a list of colleges my son wants to visit. It's almost funny as we all sit in the living room, each on a different web page, sharing a different aspect of the same college/university. We've got the list for MA, CT and NY done. Just a few more States to go for the "local" schools list. Then we will "cherry pick" the most appealing from the rest of the country.
Having three REALLY helps with a task like this. The amount of information and the pace we can rip through that info is amazing. I need to figure out how to implement this kind of interaction at work.
