Swype support gone? [NEVER MIND, I'M AN IDIOT, WORKS FINE]

Anybody else? It just says "Please Try Again" when I try to swype something. I even tried upgrading to the new beta but it won't install so now I don't even have the non-functional build installed because they tell you to uninstall the old version before upgrading. I really liked the look of that keyboard.

Here's a topic about it at the swype forums, I don't really understand why it was discontinued, something with authentication...for a free program? It might just be wifi version?

is it true that wifi xoom will not get swype?

I just downloaded and installed the most recent version of Swype on my Xoom. Works fine for me with no errors. I just uninstalled the old one to do it. I have the 3g one though.

The thread you linked to was old till the last two messages. Looks like someone resurrected a dead thread.

I have wifi and I updated to the new version yesterday. Works fine.
I did have to uninstall the swype installer and swype from the Xoom and get the new installer before it would work. The new version allows future updates without having to uninstall.
