Question Updating the Motorola Xoom Wi-Fi (MZ604) to Android 4.0?

Is this possible without plugging the tablet into a PC and/or rooting it?

Currently installed version is 3.2 and tapping "System updates" displays "Your device is up to date."

Then there is no ics yet. You'll need to root and flash a custom rom for your device

No root needed. Go to the link below. I have a Canadian MZ604 ( I live in the US-go figure) that I flashed to the US image and am running 4.0.4. I no longer need to depend on when Motorola decides to release an update for another country. Read the procedure several times, download all needed files and install them. It is painless and there is a go back if needed on the same page.

Best of luck. Pass this on to all your friends that want ICS (albeit the US image).
