Re: ICS 4.04 can write to SD card
FM HD does work well. I just wish I could download directly to the SD card instead of downloading to the internal storage then moving the files over to the storage card.
it would be great to have a torrent download directly to the sd card

Can't seem to write to the external SD card, especially to transfer photos there. I even tried to transfer some via USB from a laptop and that wouldn't work. I am also unable to delete directories from the external SD card.
So far I haven't found the wow factor of ICS...

Re: ICS 4.04 can write to SD card
yeah I find it pretty stupid that they still don't have SD card fully implemented. You should be able to set the camera app to automatically store photos on the SD card, its really rediculous and frustrating that you can't.

Re: ICS 4.04 can write to SD card
I just spoke with a tech at Motorola in the devGroup and he told me that full support for SD Write with the Motorola Xoom would NOT be forthcoming. You can write to the SD card with ICS 4.0.4 using documents, PDF and Excel only. But you cannot write with any other applications like camera video and pictures.
There is the work around suggested by earlier posts of using File Manager HD to copy pictures from the internal storage to the SD but I am not able to get that to successfully work.
Verizon is now saying they never promised the feature of writing to SD.
I think they did promise this feature.
Does anyone have any of the original promo materials from VZW or Motorola about the Motorola Xoom.
For example press releases, flyers, marketing materials and or other info.

Re: ICS 4.04 can write to SD card
Can someone explain to me why giving us full access to the sd card is such a big deal? When I heard that the xoom had an SD card slot I just assumed that I would have full access- on every other computer/device that I plugged in a memory card I could do what I wanted. Why not the Xoom?
